With a selection of over 2,700 accommodations for sleeping and eating, and more than 360 addresses for zero kilometer purchases, the new guide 'Hotels and restaurants in Italy 2023' by the Italian Touring Club has been drawn up.

From today in bookstores, the historic volume, edited by Teresa and Luigi Cremona, also indicates 50 Electric-friendly certified structures that make charging stations for electric vehicles available to customers: among these, 12 have been awarded for individual excellence.

In collaboration with the eV-Now! Foundation

and Witaly, an entire section of the guide was in fact dedicated to the theme of environmental sustainability.

Winners of the Stanze Italiane award are Manna Resort in Montagna (Bolzano), La Malà in Vernazza (Spezia), The Student Hotel Florence Lavagnini in Florence and Gallicantu Stazzo Retreat in Luogosanto (Sassari).

The Buona Cucina recognition was instead awarded to Contrada Bricconi in Oltressenda Alta (Bergamo), Indiniò in Raveo (Udine), Peposo in Pietrasanta (Lucca) and Le Carrube in Ostuni (Brindisi).

To receive the Art hotel award, then, La Maison de Dolphe in Brusson (Aosta), Martius Private Suites (RM) and Atelier Ines Napoli (Naples).

Four young cooks have been awarded Top of Tomorrow: Laura Santosuosso, Tina Marcelli, Sara Scarsella and Francesca Barone.

Now in its 30th edition, the guide "is a journey to discover the taste and territorial identity", said this morning Fiorenza Frigoni, director of tourist-cartographic products and services at the Italian Touring Club.

"Fewer structures than years ago, but more selected; further away from the big cities, but closer to the villages".

The volume "well summarizes the declination of our mission - explained the general manager of the Italian Touring club, Giulio Lattanzi at the opening of the press conference -, to take care of Italy to make it more known, attractive, competitive and welcoming".
