Alfonso Tumbarello, 70, the doctor who was treating Andrea Bonafede, alias Matteo Messina Denaro, is being investigated in the context of the arrest of the super fugitive.
Tumbarello is from Campobello di Mazara and was a general practitioner in the town for decades, until last December, when he retired.
