Method for drinking wine from the bottle (mattdalrymple8)

This week in the tasting white wines of winter.

Not that in the summer it wouldn't be pleasant to sip the wines of the Sciopetto winery from Friuli in northeastern Italy, but now it's a pleasure.

For all of Avi Efrati

's wine series, all white Sciopto wines are based on the typical varieties of the area and manage to reveal well the very unique terroir.

Few white wines resemble or resemble those of Friuli, which are endowed with character and most uniqueness, a consequence of the unique soil in the area.

Character and uniqueness.

In the current tasting there are five wines, all varietals - three basic ones (NIS 109), based on Ribola Giala, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon;

and two higher ones (NIS 159) based on Sauvignon and Malvasia.

The five wines are high quality, all full of character.

The basic ones are light and stinging, the higher ones are more complex.

These are extroverted and flattering fresh wines, and therefore will be less suitable for novice sippers who need to feel compact and inviting fruit characteristics.

More experienced drinkers, white lovers looking for slightly different flavors and aromas will undoubtedly find a lot of interest here.

for life!

It's time to get acquainted

It's hard to find a wine this good at this price.

A complex and multi-layered white that is absolutely forbidden to sip cold right near the cork.

As time passes from its opening and as its temperature approaches room temperature (in winter!) a fascinating expanse of flavors and aromas opens up.

A particularly high-quality wine for fish, oysters and pork.

Value for money:

2.5/5 (real).

complex and of unparalleled quality.
