Vigilance is still required in part of France this Wednesday.
Météo France places a total of 16 departments on alert, the vast majority for snow and ice.

Are concerned by the alert related to snow and ice: Haut-Rhin, Vosges, Côte-d'Or, Haute-Saône, Doubs, Territoire de Belfort, Ain, Isère, Saône et Loire, Rhône, Loire, Puy- de-Dome, Creuse, Allier.
These are two departments less than Tuesday, the orange vigilance having been lifted for Yonne and Haute-Marne.
“The snow disturbance is sinking over the Center and North-East of the country.
As it passes, snow at very low altitude is observed,” notes Météo France.
From 3 to 6 cm of snow were recorded this night on average.
It is the North-East of the zone concerned which was the most impacted, with 14cm towards the Plateau de Langres, 9cm in Belfort, 6cm in Auxerre.
