An unusual incident at a clinic in Ramla: a
female patient punched a doctor at the women's health clinic in the city today (Thursday).
Apparently, the woman used her fist.
The doctor suffers a facial cut and is taken by ambulance to receive medical treatment at a hospital.
The clinic was closed.
The attack came just three days after another incident of assault against doctors, which occurred at Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva. In the case that occurred last Monday, the parents of a patient in the children's clinic at the hospital beat, kicked and spat on the doctor.
He turned to the hospital for medical treatment, and after the security team and the police stationed at the hospital were called, the parents were taken to the police for questioning.
With the end of the investigation by the investigators of the Beer Sheva station, the suspects in the attack on the doctor will be brought before the Peace Court in Beer Sheva today. The Negev Region Claims Bureau will file an indictment against them while requesting their arrest until the end of the proceedings for what is attributed to them.

Health Minister Aryeh Deri said following that incident: "As Minister of Health I am announcing - we will not allow incidents of violence against medical personnel to pass quietly. We are committed to maintaining the safety of the health system workers who save lives and work every day to protect public health. I call on the law enforcement authorities To bring the attackers to justice and punish them severely so that such cases do not repeat themselves."
