Following the severe incidents of violence against medical staff this week, the Medical Association is meeting today (Thursday) at 3:30 p.m., with the agenda of shutting down the entire health care system in Israel for 24 hours starting at 2 am.
The shutdown will include all hospitals and health insurance clinics, with the exception of emergency treatments.
However, the final and official decision will be made at the Medical Association's secretariat in the coming hours.
