(ANSA) - MILAN, JAN 19 - The Prevention Measures Section of the Court of Milan has rejected the request for special surveillance for a year with the obligation to stay put forward by the Pavia Police Headquarters for 20-year-old Simone Ficicchia, activist of the Last Generation environmental movement, protagonist of a series of blitzes in recent months, including the one on 7 December with paint thrown over the entrance to the Teatro alla Scala.
Various actions were contested against the 20-year-old, including the one in July when, together with others, he glued himself to the protective glass of Botticelli's Primavera in the Uffizi.
And also a series of roadblocks put in place especially in Rome.
The decision was taken by the Rispoli-Cernuto-Spagnuolo Vigorita college of the Section chaired by Fabio Roia.
The request to reject the surveillance request formulated by the lawyer Gilberto Pagani was accepted.
