Now, Amalita's house in Esteña will be part of a luxury neighborhood.

A developer company bought it and plans to build on the

iconic land of the "Aldebarán" residence

, within the El Golf neighborhood, a super exclusive housing area, which requires a total investment of almost 6 million dollars.

The project will be carried out on the lot where the emblematic Fortabat summer house is located.

"This new development was born from finding the opportunity to acquire what was, without a doubt,

one of the best residential environments to live in Punta del Este

," said Mauro Naddeo, one of the four investment partners in the project.

The project includes several exclusive spaces.

The mansion, located on Laureano Alonso Pérez avenue and Del Agua street, is one of the

historic mansions built in the 1940s by Arturo Dubourg

, an Argentine architect, who was in charge of designing the most packaged and exclusive neighborhood at that time. from Punta del Este.

Amalita spent her vacations in the traditional house since 1955, which keeps

endless historical anecdotes

.

This impressive mansion has always stood out for its

French countryside style

, with slate roofs, infinite pisses, internal elevator and 600 m2 covered.

The complex is a unique place with access to a private beach.

Costal Developments, a developer with experience in large-scale construction, had been searching for more than two years for the "ideal land" to project a space that would meet the growing demands of those who wanted to live and vacation very close to the sea but at the same time "close to everything” and with the security, services and amenities typical of a premium development.

Thus,

Amelie Ocean Residences

was born .

The architectural style and design was carried out by the Pacific architecture studio.

"The project offers its owners functional solutions with all the necessary comforts for a

unique quality of life

," said Naddeo.

In addition, they have an agreement with Mía Bistro, an exclusive inn 150 meters from the development, which offers beach service with umbrellas and lounge chairs.

The SUM is located in the central nave, a common space for socializing and a high-rise gym overlooking the sea with state-of-the-art equipment.

The construction of perimeters and accesses together with the infrastructure works, is planned for the beginning of this 2023 and

half of the 11 available lots have already been sold

.

The value of lots ranges between 430 and 480 dollars per m2 and a bank offers financing with a line of credit in indexed units or in US dollars.

Amalita's House

Naddeo said that two lots are for sale together, where the emblematic house of Amalita is.

"The land is sold with the house. That is to say,

the buyer of these two lots gets the house for free

. But at the same time, he is obliged to value it. Because the idea is to rescue the structure. The new owner can do the reforms you want, but

the idea is to keep it

."

ten years in a state of abandonment

.

Argentines residing in Argentina

.

"In addition, we have Argentines who live in Punta del Este. And a Brazilian who lives in Brazil," he says.
