Bad news for Rafael Nadal.
After his elimination in the second round of the Australian Open, the Spaniard underwent an MRI which showed a second-degree lesion to the iliopsoas muscle in his left leg.
As announced on social networks, the recovery time is estimated at 6 to 8 weeks.
If this timing is respected, the Spaniard will miss the February tournaments and could also forfeit the Indian Wells and Miami Masters 1000, returning to the field for the clay court season.
