The Gulf Cup final took a dramatic turn in Basra, Iraq.
A giant stampede outside the city's stadium left one dead and at least ten injured on January 19.
Images, relayed by Iraqi media, show an impressive crowd crowding in front of the entrance, a few hours before the start of the match.
In several videos, fans can be seen scaling the stadium walls, hoping to watch the match between Iraq and Oman from 7:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. GMT).

The crush was caused by the "large number of fans, especially people without tickets, who had gathered since the morning and tried to enter" the stadium, a Home Office official said undercover of anonymity.
Prime Minister Mohamed Chia al-Soudani has announced that he will go to the scene of the tragedy, according to a press release from his office.
He chaired "an urgent meeting in the presence of some ministers and the governor of Basra", organized "to discuss special measures for the final of the Gulf Cup 25", according to the same source.
Calm returned later in the day.
The Iraqi Football Federation announced that the match, which should take place this evening, was maintained.
