(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 21 - According to US estimates, the Russian forces may have recorded 188,000 losses, including dead and wounded, since the start of the invasion of Ukraine: the figure was revealed to the Sun on the occasion of the Ramstein summit in Germany .
The newspaper attributed the figures to "defense sources" after US General Mark Milley said Russia had suffered "a huge amount of casualties, well over 100,000".
The number of casualties is believed to include both Russian forces and the Wagner mercenary group.
Today the army of Kiev has announced that the dead Russian soldiers are 120,160, of which 860 were killed yesterday.
