Jannik Sinner's adventure at the Australian Open ends, the first Grand Slam tournament of the season, underway in Melbourne.
On the field of the Rod Laver Arena, the South Tyrolean was defeated in the round of 16 match by the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, number 3 in the world and chasing the leadership of the ATP.
After the first two sets won by the Greek player, with a double 6-4, Sinner had managed to complete a magnificent comeback, winning the third (6-3) and fourth (6-4) sets;
in the fifth, however, he had to give in to his opponent 6-3.
