(ANSA) - PARIS, JAN 22 - Emmanuel Macron on Sunday urged France and Germany to become "pioneers for the re-foundation" of Europe, during a speech at the Sorbonne on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Elysee Treaty for reconciliation between the two Villages.
Alongside Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Macron said that "Germany and France, since they have cleared the path of reconciliation - said Macron - must become pioneers for the refoundation of our Europe".
