The strike will begin at 7:00 a.m. and will continue until 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, and will include the general, geriatric, psychiatric, and rehabilitation hospitals throughout the country as well as outpatient clinics, with the exception of the Sheba Hospital, where it was reported that all outpatient clinics and institutes will work as usual .

The rest of the hospitals will work in a Shabbat and holiday format, meaning they will only provide emergency treatments, including urgent dialysis services, intensive care, emergency rooms, delivery rooms, premature births and oncology treatments, late system review for pregnant women, IVF treatments and gastro clinics, which cannot be postponed.

The strike will include community clinics, health bureaus and government offices, doctors working in health bureaus, school doctors, doctors working in government offices and other medical institutions, as well as doctors performing administrative duties.
Also, a local exception committee will be established, which will consist of the director of the anesthesia department (or his representative), who will act as the chairman of the committee, a representative of the operating rooms as well as a representative of the committee. At the same time, one on-call primary clinic will operate in each large city.
The statement of the Medical Association states that "As you know, in recent days we have once again witnessed serious and brutal cases of violence, in which a pediatrician at the Soroka Medical Center and another gynecologist at a community clinic in Ramla were severely beaten by violent patients, who beat them until they bled and injured them with physical injuries.
"Despite the increasing violence, and despite the number of cases of violence, neither the employers nor the Ministry of Health are doing enough to eradicate those cases of violence. Unfortunately, not enough security guards were added to protect the medical staff, the punishment was not made worse, reporting systems were not implemented to prevent the incidents of violence and nothing was done to maintain The security of doctors".
Prof. Dror Mabaruch from Hadassah Hospital said: "I understand the motives of the strike, but this is not a good way to express our protest, because we are hurting our patients and that is not good.
However, the doctors want to raise awareness among the public about injuries to doctors, which are not possible."
