13 very long years in the heart of Mahane Yehuda Market in Jerusalem helped to establish the "Mechanioda" empire, to create for it a loyal audience of diners (and fans), to develop countless, much less successful, replications throughout the country, and to deepen its grip on the local and global food market.
Only one thing all these years failed to do - shorten the road from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, save on traffic jams and blue-and-white searches, and in general soften a little the exhausting logistical experience involved in getting there.
Up to now.
Because from now on (and at least for the next limited time) we can say out loud: accept Mahaniuda Tel Aviv.
Bring the sablet.

This is, in no more precise way to put it, the most pop-up pop-up there is.
He will go on his way following the renovation works at the mother restaurant, which will start on February 5 and will last, as far as you can tell how long renovations last here, for a few weeks.
At this time, according to the group's announcement, a team from Hanioda will be hosted at "Shoshu", the in-house restaurant of the Rapid company that operates in the triangle tower of the Azrieli Center in Tel Aviv, and is normally closed to the general public.
The planning, as can be expected, is a full mobbing of the restaurant and its personnel, of the food and of the atmosphere, including the famous flagship dishes and including everything that can no longer be separated from its distinct DNA.
"Shoshu" itself contains an open kitchen and about 80 seats, of which about thirty chairs at the bar, in front of the staff and in front of the happenings and action.
The other restaurants of the group, including "Yudle" and "Tzemach", will work as usual.
According to the plan, the pop-up will be active Sunday-Thursday from 18:30, on the tenth floor of the triple tower (entrance from the 3rd floor in Azrieli Mall).

About a month and a half ago, Granit announced the opening of "Berta", his new restaurant in Berlin.
The restaurant, located in the new "Tale Berlin Potsdamer Platz" hotel from the Precise chain, is supposed to draw a Berlin-Jerusalem axis, drawing power and inspiration from the life story of his grandmother, a Holocaust survivor on whose lap he grew up and from whom he acquired his love for cooking.
"I was born and raised in Jerusalem, and I always dreamed of opening a restaurant in the place that my family had to leave," he said, "As a child, I would always look over her shoulder to learn from her how to cook. Her story is the legacy of my cooking, and I owe it to her."
