has taken over a disused furniture store on the avenue de la Grande-Armée.
Renowned for its whimsical and creative ready-to-wear, the label launched with shoes in 1997 is now wildly successful, especially in Asia where its sneakers with deformed plasticine-like soles are everywhere.
Coming down the stationary escalators, the first models wear thick faded faux leather coats, quilted mesh with holes, and tint the collection with a grunge atmosphere.
The designer questions the boundary between the original and the copy with lumberjack shirts and puffy bucket hats, two-tone puffer jackets with giant zips or falsely worn pea coats.
On a frantic drum solo, this collection is shot through with a refreshing energy.
