Poland, we will ask Berlin ok to send Leopard to Kiev

(ANSA) - WARSAW, JAN 23 - Poland will ask Germany for authorization to send Leopard tanks to Ukraine.

This was announced by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Yesterday the German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock declared that Berlin "will not oppose" a Polish will to send the tanks to Kiev, underlining however that "for the moment" an authorization request "had not been made" by Warsaw, which was required to make an official request to Germany.
