The Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabaa, discussed with the President of the General Sports Federation, Firas Mualla, the importance of sports, its role in developing the body and mind, how to enhance individual and collective skills, and the cooperation mechanism for organizing school sports tournaments, through a participatory plan between the Ministry, the Federation, and the two organizations of the Revolutionary Youth Union and Vanguards of the Baath.
Minister Tabaa stressed the importance of sport and the need for participation and cooperation with popular organizations in this field, coordinating work and activating clubs to discover talents, which will reflect positively on sports.
For his part, Mualla referred to the great role of schools in discovering sports talents, stressing the importance of joint cooperation and coordination to establish a championship for school sports in partnership between the Ministry of Education and the concerned organizations, which contributes to supporting and developing these talents.
