At least three people have died following an overnight shooting at a store in Yakima, Washington state.
This was stated by the local police chief, Matt Murray, as reported by CNN.
The killer escaped in a "gray or silver" Chrysler after the shooting and is still on the run.
"He is a dangerous person and the shooting was random, so there is a danger to the community," police warned.

Within hours of the Los Angeles ballroom shooting, a man opened fire, killing seven people in the Half Bay Moon area of San Mateo County south of San Francisco.
The killer is in the custody of officers, who found him in the parking lot of a nearby police station.
In the third shooting at a gas station in the city of Oakland, one person was killed and seven were injured.
The man who set fire to Half Bay Moon has been identified as 67-year-old Zhao Chunli and the victims, according to rumors, are Chinese farmers.
"He was stopped without problems and the weapon recovered. There is no threat to the community," police say.
Chunli opened fire in the early afternoon at two different locations not far from each other.
The reasons for the crazy gesture are not yet known and the police are investigating to try to shed light on what happened.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynold said she was "shocked to saddened" by the shooting at the school, founded by Will Holmes, the rapper known as Will Keeps who came to Des Moines 20 years ago from Chicago, where he lived in a world of gangs before finding support and help in music.
The school seeks to encourage underprivileged youth to use art, music, and other programs to thrive.
"We are saddened by another act of gun violence. We are awaiting further details but our thoughts are with the families and friends of the victims," the Des Moines School District said.
