A flight attendant at the American airline Delta Airlines, who was working on a flight from Charlotte to New York, moved many when he helped a tearful woman suffering from a fear of flying - when he sat in the aisle, held her hand and relieved her fears and calmed her down.

In the post posted on Facebook by passenger Molly Lee from North Carolina, she wrote: "Look at the flight attendant who was on our flight from CLT to JFK (from Charlotte to New York). This woman was so anxious about the flight, so he explained to her everything that was happening on the plane, every A sound was heard and even sat next to her on the floor and held her hand when she still hadn't calmed down. Floyd Dean-Shannon deserves a raise!"

moved thousands.

"I'm holding you"

The photo I shared went viral, showing Dean-Shannon sitting on the floor next to the passenger, holding her hand and holding a paper cup in the other as he looked at her confidently.

Lee told US news station WXII that she was flying into New York's JFK airport on January 14 when she noticed a female passenger voicing her fears to other passengers.

"He noticed that and said, 'I'm holding you,' and was just very reassuring, told her not to worry and that the flight was going to be completely safe, and she started crying."

Lee added that the flight attendant sat and comforted her for about 10 minutes.

"I have to take a picture because it's exciting. It was so beautiful to see someone just reach out their heart like that to a stranger," she said.

"Every little noise heard on the plane, made her say 'what is that?'

And the flight attendant reassured her, 'It's fine. It's just the sleeve that came off the plane and is moving away,' or whatever. And it really helped her," she told me, as reported by TV station ABC11.
