Trailer: Septième Ciel, the audacious series on sexuality in EPHAD

2023-01-24T09:56:33.307Z

This quirky and tender OCS series boldly deals with the oh so taboo subject of seniors' sexuality. Its author had the idea while visiting her grandparents in EPHAD.

Jacques, an inconsolable widower approaching his 80th birthday, is in a morose mood.

His daughter Isabelle, who can no longer see him hanging out on her sofa, ends up placing him in a retirement home in the Bay of Somme.

He takes this decision very badly but lights up when he meets Rose, a sunny and intrepid boarder of the same age as him, who will quickly seduce him.

Their romantic relationship, far from being platonic, will give the young lovers freshness and a feeling of freedom.

But they will find it difficult to impose their idyll in the face of a sanitized institution which tends to infantilize its subjects.

It is, in fact, all those around them who risk being shaken.
