The couple indulged in some confidences about their children Marcel, 11, and Louise, 5, who did not appreciate their mother's performance in the film.
“I will tell this story, began Marion Cotillard, a little hesitant.
I always have a little trouble talking about my children, but one day my son comes to see me in my office and he says to me: 'I would like to tell you something…'”.
The 46-year-old actress interrupted herself, leaving some suspense and questioning her husband with a look, before throwing at him: "He's going to hate me saying that", which the person concerned confirmed with a big " Yes".
The journalists present encouraging her to continue, she resumed: “I would like to tell you something, he said to me.
'But I'm afraid it will hurt you'.
And I say to him: 'No, but my cat, you can tell me everything.'
And he said to me: 'I don't find you good in dad's film…'”.
An unexpected criticism which aroused laughter but also a certain amazement of the assistance.
“Somehow I am a little relieved.
I tell him 'It's your opinion, there's no problem'.
I meet up with my daughter in the evening.
I understand that she saw the film too and I don't know why, I also ask her the question.
Starting to imitate the little one, Marion Cotillard begins to wince in disgust.
“I understood later.
They could not bear that I kiss Vincent Cassel (
interpreter of Julius Caesar, editor's note
) on the mouth, ”she concluded.
"Finally I'm not that bad."
