It is already a tradition that annually celebrates the work of talented women in various fields of art, and this year we will also celebrate in Holon the "Woman in the Holon Theater Festival", which will take place this time between the dates of March 1-4 and will bring to the stage theater performances, music and dance - all based on the pure creation of women, About women and inspired by them.

One of the intriguing shows that will premiere at the festival is "All About Gila - Gila Almagor Agmon - Musical Theatrical Close-Up", which will spotlight Gila Almagor Agmon - film and theater actress, writer, screenwriter, social activist and cultural leader.

In the show, various artists will perform excerpts and songs from works in which Almagor took part throughout her rich career in cinema, theater, on entertainment stages and on the national bookshelf, including Miki Kam, Esther Rada, Dana Ivgi, Efrat Ben Tzur, Tziporla, Tal Kalai, Yohoram Gaon, and also Almagor herself, who will take part and try to digest the situation.

"We had a meeting and they explained to me what would happen. The show is produced by Einat Baser and directed by Tamar Kinan. It will have all kinds of things that on the face of it seem relevant to my work over the years," says Almagor.
"It's very nice and even makes me especially excited because I'm not a birthday girl. I'm not a girl for celebrations, you know. And suddenly such a big celebration that I never thought I'd have. It feels very pleasant and I'm curious to see what will happen.
"I believe that I will also participate in something this evening, it is not clear to me yet. The fact that the festival found me worthy of an event that was entirely discovered by Almagor Agmon and will be attended by a great many female forces makes me very happy and especially exciting."
In moments like these, I assume that you, Yaakov Agmon, your late partner, are especially missed, as the one who accompanied you to every show.

The following will also be performed as part of the festival: "Exceptional" with the participation of Hana Leslau and others, a performance in memory of Talia Shapira, a performance in memory of Dafna Eilat with Chava Elberstein and others, a performance of the songs of Ahuva Ozeri with Aviva Avidan, Leah Shabat and the band that accompanied Ozeri in her performances in recent years, and a host of other shows dedicated to prominent women of culture and entertainment who have influenced Israeli creativity over the years.
