The unions will also meet again from February 1, “to agree on the follow-up to be given” to the social movement.

After the SNCF, the RATP.

This Wednesday, the representative organizations of the RATP - the CGT, FO, the Unsa and the CFE-CGC - called on all the employees of the company to go on strike, next January 31, on the occasion of the second major national day of interprofessional mobilization against the pension reform.

, the joint press release from the intersyndicale immediately underlines

the “hostility

” of the organizations towards the government's project, and demands its “

withdrawal

”.

"

We affirm our determination to build a large-scale movement with all the workers of the country

", proclaim the four unions, which remain headstrong against the text proposing in particular the abolition of the special regime enjoyed by a large part of the agents of the Ile-de-France region.

The day of January 31 must therefore be that of mobilization, call the structures: "

all the agents of the company [must] express their refusal of this counter-reform of pensions by participating in the strike and the demonstration of Tuesday 31 January

“, they believe in the press release.

Then, the inter-union of the RATP will meet “

from February 1 to agree on the follow-up to be given

” to the social movement.

The call for a strike is hardly surprising: during the previous interprofessional day, January 19, traffic at the RATP had already been marked by major disruptions, while many agents beat the pavement in a sign of opposition to reform.

During the next national day, the SNCF unions have already called to join the processions, in order to "

raise the balance of power to win the withdrawal

" of the text.

At the RATP – as at the SNCF – the mobilization could however go beyond this simple call to strike on January 31.

On Facebook, the CGT-RATP called on employees “

to participate, from January 23, in all the local initiatives proposed by our organizations

”.

The national inter-union hopes that actions will multiply in companies, by the end of the month, to maintain pressure on the government.
