(ANSA) - MADRID, JAN 25 - A sexton was killed in a knife attack in southern Spain.
The police reported it, adding that a priest was injured.
The police arrested a man as the alleged perpetrator of the attack he allegedly carried out with a machete according to sources from the Spanish Interior Ministry cited by Efe.
One person was seriously injured inside the church of San Isidro in Algeciras, where the raid took place around 8pm.
Instead, the deceased person died outside the church.
Investigations are underway on the facts, the nature of the attack has not yet been determined, add the same sources.
