(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, JAN 24 - The Pentagon has announced that it will increase sixfold the production of 155-millimeter projectiles, those that Ukrainian forces need most, up to 90,000 a month in two years.
The New York Times reports it.
This is a level of production not seen since the Korean War.
The plan calls for the investment of billions of dollars, the creation of new production facilities and the involvement of more producers.
