A photographer captured the rare phenomenon on January 16 in Ivins, Utah, United States: he filmed an inverted waterfall with his drone, while strong winds were blowing on the south -western United States.
“Seriously, it was the most incredible day for such unique conditions!
In the past 20 years, I can only remember a few times when the Kayenta waterfalls have flowed upside down!
“said RJ Hooper, the photographer behind these images, on Facebook.
“My drone struggled against the 60 mph (95km/h approx) wind above the edge of the cliff!
", he added.
