The jury has now announced the ten most notable productions of the past year.

Double success for Munich: Both the Bayerische Staatsschauspiel and the Munich Kammerspiele have been invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen this year.

At its press conference on Thursday (January 26, 2023), the jury of the performance show of German-speaking theaters announced which ten productions they considered to be the most remarkable of the past theater year.

The 60th Berlin Theatertreffen will take place from May 12th to 28th, 2023.

Berliner Theatertreffen: Residenztheater and Kammerspiele nominated

The Munich Residenztheater has been nominated for the 60th edition of the festival with Christoph Stölzl's production of “The Legacy” by Matthew Lopez based on the novel “Howard's End” by EM Forster.
