The fashion world is no longer holding its breath to find out who will preside over the 38th edition of the Hyères International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories, an event which each year reveals the talents of tomorrow.
On the evening of Wednesday January 25, its founder, Jean-Pierre Blanc, revealed the identity of the three presidents of the juries and the finalists of the prestigious competition to be held from October 12 to 15.
An edition placed under the sign of youth since it is the designer Charles de Vilmorin who will chair the fashion jury.

Young fashion prodigy
At 26, he is probably the competition's youngest president.
In three years, he succeeded in establishing himself as one of the creative prodigies of his time.
The eccentricity of his colorful creations recalls the audacity of this new generation which pushes again and again the limits of the artistic approach.
When he obtained his diploma from the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, he immediately launched his eponymous brand in full confinement.
Immediately his creations mark the spirits and trigger the

on social networks.
His rise is meteoric.
In February 2021, he was appointed artistic director of the Rochas house even before being a finalist for the LVMH and Andam Prizes.
Today the roles are reversed and it is up to him to focus on the work of young fashion hopefuls.
The talents of tomorrow
It's a safe bet that this president of the fashion jury will be in total osmosis with the generation of promising talents competing at the Festival this year.
The creator will be surrounded by personalities such as the singer Fischbach, Bilal Hassani, Daphné Bürki or even the journalist and author Sophie Fontanel to elect the 2023 winner from among the ten finalists from all over the world.
Regarding the Accessories Prize, it is the Brazilian Alan Crocetti (37), a renowned jewelry designer, who will chair the jury.
On the photography side, the Festival called on one of its former finalists, Luis Alberto Rodriguez (40) to chair the jury.
A way of emphasizing that the Festival brings out the big names of tomorrow every year.
And if this year, the Villa de Noailles celebrates its centenary, the festival is banking on the future,

– How do you feel about being president of the Hyères fashion jury?
Charles de Vilmorin.

This represents a major step in my career, I am honored.
This festival has always been very important to me.
I tried the contest so I understand how the finalists feel.
It's incredible to walk in the footsteps of former presidents who inspire me so much like Glenn Martens or Jonathan Anderson.
I want to live up to this role, to contribute my stone to the building of the Festival de Hyères.
How do you view youth, you who are almost the same age as the finalists?
Youth rhymes with the future.
We are responsible for what will happen later, the future is in our hands.
I find that the whole new generation that is emerging brings a lot of freshness and benevolence, that is our greatest strength.
I also think that age does not define us on a human level and above all should not limit us in terms of creation.
What would you like to pass on to the finalists?
I would like them to feel total freedom of expression, and also a desire to surpass themselves, to offer strong creations without comparing themselves to others.
When you are inhabited by an idea, it is important to know how to talk about it and to act.
I would like them to understand that you should only embark on projects that make sense.
