Waste glass may only be disposed of at certain times.
Not at all on Sundays.
What happens if you just do it anyway?
Whether it's old, deposit-free bottles or empty jars: used glass can be easily recycled and should never end up in the household waste.
Disposal takes place via used glass containers, which are set up at special collection points in town or at the recycling center.
However, throwing in the bottles and glasses naturally creates a lot of noise.

Disposing of used glass on Sunday is not permitted
In order to protect residents from noise pollution, used glass can only be disposed of on weekdays and only at certain times.
The exact times are usually noted on large information signs on the containers.
However, Sundays and public holidays do not count - on these days no old glass may be thrown in all day long.

Dispose of used glass with or without a lid?
In order for used glass to be fully recyclable, it is important to throw in the glass separately according to colour: white, brown or green.
All other colors, such as blue or colored glass, belong to the green glass.
The glasses and bottles do not have to be rinsed separately, just like used packaging for the yellow bag.
According to the Glass Recycling
Association
(bvse)
, used glass should be disposed of without a lid, even if foreign objects can in principle be filtered out.
