Is the start of the comedy as extraordinary as the title promises, or is it not worth taking a look at?

The sitcom Extraordinary launched its first season on the Disney+ streaming service today.

In the opening episode, we meet Jen (Máiréad Tyers), a young woman who lives in a world where everyone gets (super)powers for their 18th birthday.

Only with her does the arrival of her power seem to be delayed, if it still manifests itself at all, which particularly frustrates her in her everyday life.

While the 25-year-old is looking for a better-paying job, she shares a flat with her two best friends, Carrie (Sofia Oxenham), who can act as a medium for the deceased, and Kash (Bilal Hasna), who has some time to spare can turn back for a while.

What is the start about?

After Jen's job interview ended less than optimally, she embarked on a blind date, where she met a man who confided in her that his special power was to bring his counterpart to orgasm when touched.

Jen and the stray cat (Luke Rollason), who she picked up shortly before, put this to the test at her house, which doesn't impress her date, but after a successful test her cat gets the nickname Jizzlord from her roommates.
