The game is on the rise on France Télévisions.
After the successful launches in recent months of “Duels en famille” on France 3 or even the “Quiz des champions” and “100% Logique” on France 2, La Deux has set its sights on a new format.
According to our information, she will indeed soon adapt “The Floor”, a format signed John de Mol (“Loft Story”, “The Voice”…) and produced in France by Satisfaction, Arthur's company.
“They believe in it a lot, since the game should be articulated between prime time and daily broadcasts”, confides an executive of France Télévisions, on condition of anonymity.
One hundred illuminated boxes and general knowledge specialists
The specificity of "The Floor" (the ground, in French) is based on a gigantic plateau of one hundred luminous boxes.
On each of them, a candidate keen on general knowledge questionnaires, with a specialty per participant.
Each round, one of them is drawn to face one of his neighbors on the game grid. If he loses, he is eliminated.
If he wins, he recovers an additional space and excludes his rival from the game.
The goal: to obtain as many squares as possible to try to win the bet and the gain that accompanies it.

Acquired last year by the Talpa teams, this novelty was successfully launched in the Netherlands, the country of origin of John de Mol.
With even an increase in scores in the second week, with a 22% increase among viewers aged 20 to 49.
Great feats that France 2 hopes to achieve, but also other countries.
American and British adaptations are currently in preparation, for an arrival on the air in 2023.
In France, Satisfaction holds the exclusivity of the format thanks to a partnership established between Arthur and John de Mol in June 2021, allowing the formats of Talpa to be co-produced in France.
“We work together every day to develop new formats,” the Frenchman explained to us at the start of last year, rejoicing at having “the chance to collaborate with the most creative man in the world.
