(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 26 - The gap between the pension amounts of men and women is confirmed.
For pensions paid in 2023 - emerges from the Observatory on INPS retirement flows - an average check of 1,153 euros was recorded (including old age, advanced, disability and survivors) but if for men the average check is 1,381 euros, for women stops at 976 euros per month with a difference of about 30%.
The gap is even greater for employees with men who, thanks to longer careers and higher salaries, left on average with an old-age allowance that was almost double that of women (1,440 against 754 euros).
