The gap between the amounts of pensions for men and women is confirmed.

For pensions paid in 2023 - emerges from the Observatory on INPS retirement flows - an average check of 1,153 euros was recorded (including old age, advance payments, disability and survivors) but

if for men the average check is 1,381 euros for women stops at 976 euros per month with a difference of about 30%

.

The gap is even greater for employees with men who, thanks to longer careers and higher salaries, left on average with an old-age allowance almost double that of women (1,440 against 754 euros).

In 2022, 779,791 new pensions were paid out including old-age, advance, disability and survivors allowances with a drop of 12.28% compared to 2021, it still emerges from the Observatory, according to which the

reduction was more substantial for early pensions

decreased by 18.21% (from 295,072 to 241,339).

The data should be linked to the depletion in 2021 of Quota 100 replaced by Quota 102 with narrower links.

The average check for new pensions was 1,153 euros (down on 2021) with substantial differences between old-age pensions (845 euros) and early ones (1,907 euros).

There are 23,812 pensions paid in 2022 with the Women's Option measure with an increase of 15.4% on 2021

.

This can be read in the Inps Observatory on the monitoring of retirement flows according to which in 2022 there were 8,833 women who took advantage of the measure before the age of 59 with checks for almost half of these below 500 euros.

Almost 90% of those who left before the age of 59 chose to do so with pensions of less than 1,000 euros.

If we look at the total of pensions paid with the women's option (pension calculated entirely with the contributory method) we see that over half of the checks paid (12,298) are worth less than 500 euros a month and 88.75% are worth less than 1,000 EUR.

Applications for invalidity to INPS "come 22% from tumors and 21.5% from psychic pathologies

", equal to "about 180,000 and almost 178,000" applications per year.

This was reported, in the Social Affairs Commission, in the Senate, by the president of the public welfare institute Pasquale Tridico.

"We released the invalidity within three days of the application - he says - because there is a very strong need", with an assessment made "through the documents that the hospitals offer us directly".
