(ANSA) - ROME, 26 JAN - "I feel, at this moment and here, all the responsibility for the task that has just been entrusted to all the new directors, and to me who represent them today. I am, and we are all, aware of the delicacy of the function that we are called to carry out: guarantee the autonomy and independence of the judiciary, "pillar - as the President of the Republic reminded us - of our democracy", said the vice president of the CSM Fabio Pinelli at the inauguration ceremony of the judicial year.

    The CSM will face "the numerous and complex challenges of the justice system, at the same time pursuing the ideal of the magistrate that we believe should be pursued: the magistrate who stands out for his professional rigor, for confidentiality in all behaviors, and for respect for the dignity of people. The exercise of judicial power must always be carried out in compliance with the subjection to the law of the magistrate and in full protection of the dignity of the person", added Pinelli.
