VENICE - Palazzo Loredan welcomes "Monstrous faces and caricatures. From Leonardo da Vinci to Bacon", an exhibition curated by Pietro C. Marani and staged from 28 January to 27 April.

Promoted in Venice by the Giancarlo Ligabue Foundation, the exhibition presents 75 works from international museums and private collections.

Along the way there are numerous comparisons and references, from Leonardo (of which 17 autographed drawings are on display, including the well-known "Testa di Vecchia") to Anton Maria Zanetti and Tiepolo, passing through Francesco Melzi, Paolo Lomazzo, Aurelio Luini, Donato Creti, Arcimboldo , but also Carracci and Parmigianino, up to the 1900s with Francis Bacon's masterpiece "Three studies for a portrait of Isabel Rawsthorne".

Curated by Valerio Dehò, the itinerary tells the art of Beaufour through the comparison between marble sculptures and the production of drawings, paintings and engravings.

MILAN - Dream, magic, metaphysical and surrealist painting in its most feminine declination: from 24 January to 27 March the Other Size Gallery hosts "The company of dreams", a solo show by Ilaria Del Monte, curated by Claudio Composti.

Eleven medium and large format paintings on display - created from 2017 to today - in which the artist's ability to create suspended atmospheres and worlds on the canvas in which the everyday merges with the supernatural is manifested.

From the bodies of the actors of Living Theater to that of female nudes, from the denunciation photography of Dying of class to the worldly Milan of Mondo Cocktail: there is all this in the exhibition "Forma e Movimento" dedicated to Carla Cerati (Bergamo, 1926 - 2016 ) and scheduled at the Leica Store Milano from 25 January to 8 April.
