With just two episodes of the HBO video game adaptation, The Last of Us, young leading lady Bella Ramsey is already thinking about the distant future.

In an interview, she now spoke about extension probabilities.

"If people keep watching, I think (a second season) is very likely," Ramsey said in an interview with the BBC.

The actress is of course referring to her new HBO series "The Last of Us", which not only had a record start with the American premium cable channel in terms of ratings, but was also able to increase the success numbers even further with the second episode, which is actually so good like never happened.

Including VOD latecomer numbers, more than 18 million people are said to have looked at the fungus-infested video game adaptation in the USA alone.

So the Ellie actress has every reason to be optimistic.

Still, she doesn't want to make any promises just yet: "It's up to the people at HBO to decide.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, so we'll just have to wait and see.” Incidentally, in the case of the fantasy series House of the Dragon, which aired on HBO this fall, broadcasters made their decision less than a week after it aired.

So an early confirmation can also be expected for “The Last of Us”.

We still have seven of the nine editions of the first season ahead of us anyway (in this country via Sky/WOW).
