You will have to believe us when we say that this is not an easy job, not easy at all.

To try all the new products that come out to the Israeli market (and sometimes outside of it as well), to taste in front of everyone, deliveries and more deliveries, paper bags that accumulate in the office (and at home), a never-ending feeling of satiety.

Seriously, it's harder than it looks, and no one is paying you to go to the gym, or compensating you for the FOMO that quickly develops in your mind.

For all the articles in the "New on the Shelf"

section, however, the "New on the Shelf" section, for its tasters, curious and loyal consumers, has set off again, determined and mission-oriented.

And this time - an Israeli match is requested, an exciting Italian landing and also at least two comebacks.

Yes, we are very eclectic.

enjoy your meal!

Cheesy Bites Remix, Pizza Hut

The popular pizza chain jumped on it slightly, and returned from there with "Cheesy Bites Remix", two dough versions that do not neglect the margins.

This is Cheesy Bites pizza with "sauce dill garlic", sriracha or home fries - which are based on thin dough with 28 bites of cheese on the edges.

The spicy option that came to the tasting provided what was promised - a real pizza in the center, and quite a few tasty dough snacks around, with kick sprinkles on top.

During the month, you can order "Cheesy Bites Remix" and a family pizza for NIS 60 each, "Cheesy Bites" with a side dish and a drink for NIS 110, "Cheesy Bites" and two individual knapa pizzas for NIS 125, and Two family "Cheesy Bites" for NIS 129.

In four words: don't look (only) in the center.

Roglach Family, Boutique Central

The Israeli patisserie chain celebrates International Croissant Day (January 30, we checked) with a classic and popular collection, and with a special and quite unusual edition.

This is a family chocolate rouglach in the form of 550 grams (!) of puff pastry and yeast, which requires no less than two days to prepare.

The result is very surprising for the good, neutralizes any suspicion of gimmicks, provides carbohydrate softness and lots of chocolate, and above all, it satisfies lots of people.

Price: 46 shekels.

In two words: Happy holiday!

Bamba bears and Bamba filled with sweet Bamba, barn

The local snack brand does not leave much room to breathe between launching and refreshing, and has shelled out in the last few weeks with two new releases, in the form of "Bamba Bears" and Bamba filled with sweet Bamba flavored cream (or red, as every Israeli calls it).

Let's start with the more animalistic version, which was initially perceived as a form-visual gimmick and nothing else, but quickly left behind a completely empty bag, because it is the same Bamba, with a little more crunch that comes from its minuteness.

The second shipment did what many called for the barn to do a long time ago, and created the requisite and most basic sweet-salty pairing, and one that often happens pirated, by buying two bags and zig-zagging on them.

Either way, the salty is indeed salty, the sweet is sweet (probably too much, but it's a hard battle to manage), and together it's a bag that neutralizes control.

In two words: nothing like it.

Waffles, Lago

Lago's waffles (Photo: Lago)

The exploding waffle shelves here are preparing for further expansion, with the arrival of Lago products from northern Italy.

The collection includes, for now, two series - Plaisir and Mini Rolls - and relatively special chocolate-nut-fruit combinations.

Among other things, you can find here milk chocolate covered waffles with passion fruit cream and caramelized hazelnuts (cute and original in relation to the genre), waffles filled with coconut cream covered with dark chocolate (great for coconut lovers), waffle rolls filled with blackcurrant cream covered with dark chocolate, waffle rolls Hazelnut cream filled with milk chocolate sprinkles (more classic, more excellent), waffle rolls filled with cocoa cream covered with milk chocolate and also rolls filled with hazelnut cream, filled with coconut cream and filled with cocoa cream - all crispy as required and sweet to the right degree.

Price: NIS 9.90-10.90.

In three words: what is good for the Italians.

The delicacy of the Golan Mocha, Strauss

The successful nostalgic comeback of a few months ago has become a necessary and desirable permanent move.

And this time: the Golan delicacy with mocha flavor.

This is an innovation that didn't really happen in the 80's (for some reason), and now provides 125 grams of a fun treat, good creaminess (3.9% fat) and an excessively sweet-bitter taste, and above all delicious.

In two words: back to the future.

Pomegranate juice, Pariniv

Periniv's grapefruit juice (Photo: Periniv)

The successful juice company is launching a new drink, which combines orange and carrot, and is based as usual on 100% fruit.

The juice, in the form of a liter bottle, is based on a Valencia orange and freshly ground carrot.

As such, it manages to maintain a good and moderate sweetness, light acidity and a horsey taste.

Price: NIS 17.90-18.90.

In three words: a real orange day.

Olive oil, Tora Winery

The Mamta Binyamin winery is launching an olive oil based on three varieties - Picuel, Barnea and Arbaquina, and guarantees low acidity.

The oil seasoned the top (and the sides) of a quick lunch salad, mixed into a pasta sauce and also poured into a saucer as it is, to test the taste without additives.

The result was bitter and deep, standing on its own and also contributing to more complex cooking.

Price: NIS 95 for two liters, NIS 215 for five.

In three words: not just seasoning.
