Amid the commotion caused by the death of two men after consuming meat and offal in poor condition in Berazategui, the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health confirmed this Friday that

One of them is admitted to the Evita Pueblo Hospital, where the two fatalities were treated, and the other is housed in a private sanatorium.
The health portfolio specified that "
etiological diagnostic results are awaited
that will allow the agent(s) involved to be defined."
Meanwhile, the Ministry led by Nicolás Kreplak asked the health teams in the area to
"strengthen epidemiological surveillance and notify immediately"
in case of consultations "from people of any age, with a history of diarrhea, vomiting or symptoms compatible with poisoning alimentary".
It was this Thursday that the news of the death of
a 36-year-old man and another 48-year-old man
was released on January 12 and 17, after appearing at the Evita Pueblo Hospital with symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting that worsened with running. Of the hours.

, with subsequent unfavorable evolution," they indicated from the Hospital.
Based on these cases, an investigation was initiated in which it was confirmed that the victims had consumed, in the days prior to the appearance of the symptoms, infected meat and offal.
It was detected that both cultures
had the presence of shigella and salmonella
: bacteria that are usually found in the intestines of infected people and that are transmitted by ingesting food or water contaminated by an infected person.
The Department of Bromatology of the Municipality of Berazategui proceeded to take samples of merchandise from the shops in the area and they were sent for analysis to the National Service for Agro-Food Health and Quality (SENASA) and the National Food Institute (INAL).
In the last hours, the Municipal Public Health and Hygiene Secretariat reported that there is no increase in cases of diarrhea in the Primary Health Care Centers (CAPS).
In addition, the Evita Pueblo Hospital did not detect a flood in the patients admitted with these symptoms.
In the statement released this Friday, the Ministry of Health detailed an extensive series of recommendations to avoid suffering from food poisoning.
