However, this goodwill remains subject to judicious choices (plants with good absorption of CO2, non-allergenic pollen, etc.) and sometimes unsustainable technical constraints.
Paris thus had to abandon its dream of a forest on the forecourt of the town hall because the weight would have crushed the underground car park.
Even the government encourages participation in the environmental effort by granting financial support for urban renewal projects (12 billion between 2024 and 2030).
