One weeknight, in the living room, after putting the kids to bed.
Sitting on an armchair opposite his wife Jeanne*, Bastien insists on it: he wants to start a discussion to burst the abscess, to understand why she has become so distant, so cold.
"I don't love you anymore", Jeanne summarizes.
The man is stunned, but gets up.
"You think you don't love me anymore, but you're going to love me again and marry me."
He issues this as a challenge to himself.
At 43, Jeanne is less sure.
After 14 years of living together and a broken communication, she is worn out, sad, disillusioned.
Bastien shows his last card and offers to start couples therapy.
