She once collected hush money from Donald Trump's lawyer so she wouldn't repeat her allegations that she had sex with the future US President in 2006.
Now the porn producer and actress Stormy Daniels wants to help gay men find love - across generations.
"For the Love of Dilfs" (roughly: "For the love of fathers with whom I would like to have sex") is the name of her new show, and the British "Guardian" questioned her extensively about it.
And of course she also chats about Trump in the interview – but that's more of a sideline to land one or the other punchline.
This is how Daniels talks about her bad experiences as a stand-up comedian shortly before the corona pandemic began: "It was the most horrible experience of my life, and that's saying something, because I saw Trump naked." Ta-dah!
From her time with Trump, Daniels describes his "unusual" genitalia ("like a toadstool") and his empty promises to include them (and let them win) on his hit TV show The Apprentice.
She was later pressured into signing the non-disclosure agreement.
After the events became public, she was overwhelmed with hate mail and death threats.
"I used to get a lot of shit from people just for being a porn star, but it got crazy."
But she drew strength from it: "Nothing will upset your haters more than when you stand up." Then there was the matter of her former lawyer Michael Avenatti, who is in prison for, among other things, cheating Daniels out of her book advance.
Most recently, she realized her favorite project: professional tarot reading.
»I did 300 readings last year.
I've booked a few more for tomorrow."
The Guardian reporter asks how she manages to stay so positive.
Her answer: "Vodka!" And her new audience would help her, she now has a large LGBTQ fan base, she is openly bisexual herself.
“Before Trump, my crowd at the strip club was mostly older white men in suits.
After Trump I had my coming out and my audience was a rainbow.«
Her dating show "For the Love of Dilfs" is supposed to bring together two types of gay men, the "daddy", ie an older, caring man, and a "himbo", ie a young, fit man.
They are to live in a luxurious waterfront mansion, swap partners and carry out chores - in search of true love and $10,000.
Stormy Daniels himself wants to comment and give love tips.
The first broadcast is on January 31st on the LGBTIQ streaming platform Froot TV.
