The storms with
strong winds and rains left flooded streets and power outages
in different parts of the City of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires suburbs and hit the interior of the country harder.
The city hardest hit in the interior was Villa Mercedes, in San Luis, where the storm that included large hail left the tragic balance of one dead.
The day had started with a thermal of almost 30 degrees, high humidity and cloudy skies.

The storm of rain and wind broke out strongly in the City and the province of Buenos Aires, including La Matanza, Almirante Brown, Avellaneda, Lanús, Lomas de Zamora, Ezeiza, Quilmes, Morón, Vicente López, La Plata, among other districts .
There were some power outages in the area of Alejandro Korn, José C. Paz, Merlo and Moreno.
There is also a large cut in the Cañuelas area, along the route close to Route 205.

The alert governs 11 provinces
The National Meteorological Service (SMN) issued orange alerts this Friday for strong storms accompanied by "very intense gusts and hail fall" for most of the province of Córdoba, central Santa Fe and northern San Luis;
while yellow alerts are in force for storms of varied intensity for sectors of the province and City of Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos, Santiago del Estero, Tucumán, Salta, Catamarca and La Rioja.
The areas affected by the orange alert cover a large part of Córdoba, such as the provincial capital and the cities of Río Primero, Río Segundo, Tercero Arriba, Ischilín, Río Seco, Sobremonte, Tulumba, San Justo, General San Martín, Marcos Juárez, Unión, Punilla, the mountain area of Colón, Santa María, Totoral, Cruz del Eje, Minas, Pocho, San Alberto and San Javier.
"The coverage area will be affected by storms, some will be locally strong or severe, with accumulated precipitation values between 40 and 70 millimeters, which may be exceeded locally. The storms will be accompanied by very intense gusts, hail fall, strong activity electricity and abundant waterfalls in short periods", indicated the SMN.
