The Italian couple formed by Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabbri won the gold medal in dance at the European Figure Skating Championships in Epoo (Finland).
The Azzurri, with a total score of 210.44, beat the British Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson (207.89), second, and the Finns Juulia Turkkila and Matthias Versluis (198.21).
The Italian couple presented an overall program superior to that of their opponents, imposing themselves both yesterday in the Rhythm Dance and today in the Free Dance.
For Italy it is the second gold, and the fourth medal, in this edition of the European Championships.
