(ANSA) - SAO PAULO, JAN 28 - President Luiz Inacio Lulada Silva (Pt) has vetoed the supply of ammunition for tanks from Brazil to Ukraine.
Lula , according to SP's Folha online reports, prefers to maintain a neutral position and avoid provoking Moscow.
The head of state also denied having received a request from the German government to do so.
Meanwhile, today Chancellor Scholz arrives in Argentina for his first stop on a journey that will also take him to Brazil and Chile in the next few days. The meeting between the German chancellor and the Brazilian leader is scheduled for Monday 30 January.
