Dan shared a photo with Shauna, who weighs just 22 kilograms and is 1.16 meters tall - and then also shared a video defending their relationship.
Shauna previously told The Post that men look down on her and exclude her because of her looks, but in the video, Dan says he's the one who started dating Shauna after seeing her on screen and falling in love with her.
The two met and soon started dating.

"It is very important to remember that Shauna is an amazing 23-year-old woman who has a disability," he explained in the video, "so when building a relationship with her, it is important to recognize her disability and look beyond that, to know her as she really is."
He added: "The minute you say she can't have a relationship in the real world with someone else, you're basically dehumanizing her. She's a human being. She deserves to have relationships and relationships with whoever she wants."
In her documentary series, Shauna is seen trying desperately to get the rest of the world to treat her as an adult.
In one scene Una is seen sitting in a bar where she is told that "we can't serve drinks to children" or a situation where she answers the question "How old are you?"

Shauna said that "even though I can't grow physically, I really want to be treated like an adult. I'm working on my independence."

Swigert, who hails from the UK, appears in the second season of "I'm Shawna Rae", where he is seen making contact with the petite star for the first time.
However, since he was introduced to the world, the guy has been receiving a lot of criticism on social media.

Shauna responded: "When you look at me, you see an 8-year-old girl, but I think that if you take the time to look at the small details in my face, in my hands, in the maturity of my body - and take the time to really talk to me, you will understand that I am 23 years old and he is not a pedophile ".

Despite the good intentions, her romance with Sweigert may not last long, as the travel blogger recently returned to his home in the UK while Ona remained in Lund Island.
"I didn't really think about what would happen if Dan and I were in a serious relationship and how we would deal with it. I guess we'll try to have a long-distance relationship, but I've been in a relationship like that before and it's not my cup of tea."
