The boy's grandfather said that he has guardianship of the minor and that the couple had withdrawn him for a family reintegration visit.

The Investigation Prosecutor of the Bell Ville Fair, Córdoba, requested the collaboration of the population to achieve the capture of

Carolina del Valle Zapata and Gustavo Maschio

, the parents of Gianluca Tiziano Maschio Zapata, the eight-year-old boy who has been missing since the January 22, after being seen for the last time in the Cordoba town of Monte Maíz with his parents.

"The aforementioned parents did not have personal care of the child and, after a family reintegration visit, they never returned him to the home of Ricardo Daniel Zapata, the grandfather who is responsible for the custody of the child," reported the Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF).

The child was last seen on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the YPF service station in Monte Maíz, when he was leaving for the town of Isla Verde, in the Marcos Juárez department, together with his biological parents.

Carolina Zapata is 43 years old and has dark brown hair straight to her shoulders, while Maschio, 52, has a fair complexion.

Gianluca's grandfather and Carolina's father told

that they had both told him last Sunday that they were going to spend the day at a club and at 4:00 p.m. they would meet again for the boy to return home, which did not happen.

The parents were in a process of re-linking with their son, after having experienced situations of family violence that led to the judicial decision to grant custody to his grandfather.

"I went to look for him, I waited, he did not come, and I went by bicycle to the places that they had told me and they had not seen him in the property of the pools. I turned back. They had told me of a service station at the entrance of Puerto Maíz, where they said they were going to have breakfast. The camera (from the place) shows them leaving. They don't have a car," said the man in dialogue with

.

He also explained that they had already had other meetings, within the framework of the re-linking process, and that he does not have details about the ongoing investigation to find the whereabouts of the child.

"It is believed that the minor would be in the province of Buenos Aires together with his parents, on whom the arrest warrant is pending," reported the Bell Ville MPF.

For his part, his grandfather indicated that he was able to know that "they arrived at that bar (from the service station) and that they went to Corral de Bustos, a city 50 km from Monte Maíz, because it was confirmed by a person who works at the terminal from Corral de Bustos and sold tickets to Rosario".

In addition, he indicated that from the city of Santa Fe he would have traveled to Buenos Aires.

"I want to believe that they are fine. I want to believe that the first days he lived his adventure, but not so many days

," said Zapata, worried.

Regarding the boy's parents, he said that his daughter, Carolina del Valle Zapata, "has brown hair that is more blond now, straight, black eyes, a tattoo on the back of her neck that is not seen much and she likes to speak Portuguese," while the boy's father, Gustavo Maschio, "is bald, had a few days' beard when I saw him, and he usually says he is German", but he is not.

The child is 1.20 meters tall, has fair skin, black eyes and short hair, does not wear glasses, and at the time of his disappearance was wearing pink shorts, light gray slip-on sneakers, a white T-shirt with a black inscription, and was wearing a blue backpack with the inscriptions and shield of the Argentine Sports Club, according to data provided by the justice to the press to request its dissemination.
