(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 29 - With the collapse suffered in January by the spot price of gas, for the month of January "we will have to have a 33% cut" in bills, after the 23% increase in December.
This was estimated by Davide Tabarelli, president of NomismaEnergia, consulted by ANSA in view of the change that the Regulatory Authority for energy, networks and the environment (Arera) will communicate on 2 February on the January gas bill for protected customers.
"For the typical family, this is an annual saving of 712 euros for typical consumption of 1400 cubic meters per year", adds Tabarelli.
