(ANSA) - LONDON, JAN 29 - British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has fired the minister without portfolio and the chairman of the Conservative Party Nadhim Zahawi for a violation of the ministerial code linked to his tax disputes.
Downing Street announced it.
After an independent investigation, "it is clear that there has been a serious breach of ministerial code," the prime minister wrote in a letter published by Downing Street.
"Accordingly, I inform you of my decision to remove you from your position in His Majesty's Government," he added.
