The amazing story of a 44-year-old businessman who pays millions to turn 18 - voila! health

For several years now, the millionaire has been trying to make his body younger using a special procedure led by different doctors. So apart from diet and exercise what else is in his plans?

"He wants to have the brain, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, tendons, teeth, skin, hair, bladder, penis and rectum of an 18-year-old" - this is just one line from an article written by Ashley Vance for the Bloomberg Businessweek website that deals with In Brian Johnson, a 45-year-old software entrepreneur who is worth hundreds of millions of dollars and is using some of that fortune to turn back the clock.

So far he has spent more than $2 million trying to "rejuvenate" himself.

Project Blueprint, as his project is called, is being done with the help of 30 doctors who are trying the most intriguing new treatments on Johnson and obsessively monitoring the results using all the tools at their disposal, from whole-body MRIs to blood draws.

All this was done in parallel with a strict vegan diet of 1,977 calories, a regimen of daily physical activity lasting an hour, high-intensity physical activity 3 times a week - and early sleep, every evening at the same time.

And if that's not enough, there's more.

Johnson wakes up every day at 5 a.m., takes over 20 supplements, exercises for an hour, drinks green juice with creatine and collagen peptides, flosses and brushes his teeth with tea tree oil and antioxidant gel.

Before bed, Johnson wears glasses that block blue light for two hours.

moment.

there's more.

While sleeping, Johnson is connected to a machine that counts his number of erections per night.

He also takes daily measurements of his weight, body mass index, body fat, blood glucose levels and heart rate variability.

"I treat athletes and Hollywood celebrities — and no one is as targeted as Brian," Jeff Toole, an internist who is part of Johnson's antiaging team, told Bloomberg News.

If you think he's crazy, "that's to be expected and that's fine," says the millionaire who made his fortune in his 30s when he sold his company, Braintree Payment Solutions, to eBay for $800 million.

The crazy part is that it works.

About.

"Johnson's body, as they measure it, is getting medically younger," Vance writes, citing the biological age of his heart (37), skin (28), lung capacity (18) and gingivitis (17).

Among the ways he got there: by directing electromagnetic pulses into his pelvic floor to increase muscle tone in hard-to-reach places, with weekly acid peels to counteract sun damage, and through sound therapy to improve his hearing.

"My new endeavor, Project Blueprint, aims to measure all 70+ organs of my body and then maximally invert the biological age of each," he writes on his website, "we measured over 15 organs and accumulated 507 age inversion points. My chronological age is 44, the measured biological age is 36."

And despite the enthusiasm, you should also cool it down.

While it's good that he's getting some return on his $2 million, for now there's nothing out of the ordinary going on.

Many studies have already found a connection between diet, exercise and aging, so it is not surprising that a healthy life has made Johnson fitter, and on par with a younger man.
